Micro-Stutter in CS:GO?

Hi friends,

 

I've had my 980 for about two or three weeks now and I love the card. It has run everything I've thrown at it like a beauty with no problems - except CS:GO? For some reason, when I'm playing, I get these random little stutters that only last for milliseconds at a time. I don't know what could be causing them? Does anyone else have similar problems? Whenever I watch CS:GO videos on YT it really makes me think that I'm getting a degraded experience.

 

I had fraps up to see if the FPS ever dips, but it stays at a solid 60 the entire time. Has anyone else experienced something similar to this?

 

Tomorrow I'll post up some graphs of temps, clockspeeds, etc. to see if that can lead us in any direction. I don't know what could be causing this.

disable V-sync and run at 300 fps

What? 60? unlock your framerate, you dont need Vsync on CS:GO, most players run at like 200-300 FPS

Nobody plays CS:GO with V-sync - it's a broken thing that causes MASSIVE input delay and stuttering.

No, not with CS:GO
