New CPU

Go to solution Solved by royalcrown,

I'm using a Windows 10 Pro OS. I'll be just upgrading those three cpu parts (proc, mobo, and ram).

You will need to reactivate, but 10 should have drives becauser that chipset was released at the end of 2013 from what I see here:

Hey guys! I live in the Philippines I had my rig of Core 2 Duo for the past eight and a half years. And I'm about to upgrade to Core i3-4160 and I chose my mobo as Asus H81M-D (plus not availabl) with a 4Gb Ram from Corsair, roughly about $204 US. So can you guys help me out, cuz I'm not sure of what the neccesary driver and tools I need to get, I will be getting them from the Asus website: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H81MD/HelpDesk_Download/

Thanks! :D

What operating system are you going to put on it and are you going to upgrade to it or just buy the retail full version ? Newer windows like 8.1 and 10 won't need driver disks, they will have them built in.

I see, thanks! I was aiming for an H97 chip mobo, but I'm budgeting myself for other expenses right now.
