This AIO Corsair Liquid Cooler is very under rated. I would say the best bang for your buck! On top of that the rad is small, but has the effectiveness that is better than a 240mm/280mm radiator.

I opted for the h80i because I knew my i7 4790k was not a god overclocker, so I didn't want to pay for extra cooling that wasn't needed, or even that much better lol.

Sigh....

1. It is not even close to best bang for buck. For the price of a h75, you can buy a LEPA Auqachanger 240 which trounces the shit out of the h75.

2. It has no where near the effectiveness of a 240mm which generally is no where near the effectiveness of a 280mm aio (as it has 40% more surface area and yet also has fans that push up to 2x as much air at the same noise levels).

3. You are running a stock 4790k without even a 4.4 Ghz mobo... A 212 Evo would be more than plenty. Saying that because it works for you means it's good on an absolute scale is neither helpful nor accurate.

But hey. I'm glad your system works well.

If your overclocking your CPU it will not be able to keep up like a 240mm or 280mm rad, but at the stock voltages it does a good job for what it is.

Am currently using the h75 on an I5 4670k overclocked to 4ghz. Idle runs at between 23 and 26 degrees across the cores and load it hits high 40s. (I will double check this and update if necessary)

I am thinking of updating it to a Kraken X61 or the EK Predator, but I seriously doubt whether they will be a significant performance boost unless I run the rig under load at more.

Again, for a 120 rad, it does a sterling job, of course bigger rad will be better and more efficient, but for what it is, its amazing. One thing against it is the price point. it should be lower, its more expensive now that when I bought mine almost 18 months or so ago. With the 240s being around $110-$120, this needs to hit the shelves at $70 to $80.

So far I have been hugely impressed with the H75, it handles the overclocking just fine,

for grins and giggles, even from linus' testing the single 120 rads are leaving 13°

which is a lot) of 100% loaded cooling potential (comparing the push/pull H80i to

pull 240/280 kits).
