Depends how much you can get it for. Remember, Google only supports it's devices for 3 years. So you'd get this update, and nothing else.

I'd go for the Nexus 6, or 5x if you want to get the most out of the updates.

 

If you're on a budget and can get it cheap, it's ok. Camera is meh. Battery life kind of sucks if you do anything remotely intensive or use it a lot. Bottom mounted speaker is meh.

Grippy back (if you're getting black) is awesome though.

I've got a nexus 5 and with marshmellow its really snappy, battery life is still good.

 

the 5x is a good step up specs, but look how much bigger it is

 

since you can get a nexus 5 for about 350 for a 32gb i think its a good deal.

if you can hold out for a month or so I would get the 5x but if not the standard nexus 5 is still good

 

also on a note, I dont know if the new 5x has wireless charging? I use it all the time now so I couldnt live with it

Its all about those volumetric clouds
