PC upgrading time.

Hello there people,

I have been thinking of upgrading my pc for a while now, but I just can't decide what to upgrade first...

My first thought was, upgrading my cpu to an i7-4790k with a kraken x61 or corsair H100i GT / H110i GT and another 8gb of RAM.

My second thought was, upgrading my PSU to a 750w one, with possibly a 980 Ti.

Third option was to just upgrade my RAM and PSU.

I hope you guys can help me decide, since I don't really have a lot of experience when it comes to pc builds.

My max budget would be somewhere around the 500 euro range (around 570 USD and 744 CAD)

Here is my current list of components.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460

MoBo: MSI Z87-GD65 GAMING

PSU: Corsair CX600M

RAM: Kingston Fury Blue 2 x 4GB

GPU: MSI GTX 970 4GB

HDD: SeaGate 1TB

SSD #1: Samsung 840 EVO 120 GB

SSD #2: Samsung 840 EVO 120 GB (RAID 0)

Case: NZXT H440

Keyboard: RAZER BlackWidow Chroma

Mouse: RAZER DeathAdder Chroma

Headset: Logitech g403

2 xMonitor: IIYAMA GE2488HS-B1

I would put upgrading RAM as a last priority unless you need to edit video where it may be more noticeable; even then the CPU upgrade is probably better than the RAM upgrade.

If you're doing gaming, I would sell your GTX 970 and get a 980 Ti. However since you haven't listed your power supply I don't know whether you would need to upgrade that as well.

Ehm what is the reason you want to upgrade your system ? Save your money to get something else more important.

There is no real reason tbh, I saved some money the last few months and I want to spend it on something, and that something is my pc
