What are some good Pebble Time apps (for iOS)? and are there any benefits to be had if I were to jailbreak my iPhone? (benefits specifically for the Pebble time, not for iOS in general)

No benefits for the Pebble Time. The Pebble Time has its own app store where you can download watchfaces and apps for the watch itself.
