17.3 or 15.6?

I have a laptop with a keyboard and numpad, and it's 15.6". MSI GE62 2QE Apache.

I ask becouse the guy which sell this said the laptop is 17 inch. I went on dell site and i type code B5X3QX1 and i get model 15 3521. 

So or he is lying or he is giving the warranty of some other laptop..

It looks 15.6" based off of a 15.6" I had before - the space between the keyboard (with numpad) and the edges and bezels are similar.

Yep, on second look this is not a 17", it's a 15" model.

The guy is asking about 400 euros for this. i7 4500u + 8870m + 8gb + 1tb

Since it doesn't have the array of 6 keys in between the Alphanumerical keys, and the Numerical, I'd say 15.6 inch.

Have you considered the possibility that he isn't lying but just forgot or misremembered? You can't be too quick to judge people Besides, people typically like 15.6 inch laptops better because they're more portable.

He says the laptop is 17.3. And he is saying the warranty last until novembar 2016. On site it says 2015. hMM?

I looked up the model number on the ad. The laptop is identical looking, not sure if dell would really go to the trouble to make the 15 and 17 inch identical. 

 

This is the model they put in the ad. I suppose they could still lying... but they even have a receipt for the device with the model code on it.(Laptop Dell Inspiron 3737 17.3" Intel Core i7)

i will try it tomorrow. If the resolution is 1366x768 - 15.6, and 1600x900 then its 17? Right?

That warranty is for a different laptop. The warranty is for the Inspiron 3521, while the laptop is actually the 3737, which is indeed a 17" laptop. The keyboard margins look the same for 17" and 15" models, which is weird. 

 

So you should ask them for a valid warranty.
