Black Desert RU lag

Hi! i just got into this game and i notice when i attack, the frames drops and dips... Its really annoying.

 

My Specs:

 

Gtx 980 ti Evga hybrid OC*

i7-2600k 4.5ghz OC*

8gb ripjaw 1600

1tb hdd and 300gb backup hdd

850w evga supernova b2

 

 

I really dont see how these specs will lag on black desert online... Witcher 3 with maxed settings + hairworks is working at a stable 60fps.

 

im wondering if my ram is enough... when i go into the game it takes 5.2 gb of ram.

 

could that be the problem? or just Russian server not optimized fully yet? or nvidia not optimized for the game yet?

We would like to remind you that in accordance with the User Agreement project «GameNet», service game Black Desert is available in the following countries: Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Latvia Lithuania, Estonia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Access to other areas of the game blocked.

 

If not, you should expect lag since you're not close enough to the servers physically.

 

If you are in one of those regions/countries then it's probably just server related issues.

 

I was just playing the Blade & Soul Alpha test and they only have one server open in Texas, I'm in California(so remotely close) and I was having ping/performance issues almost the whole time. If Black Desert has a beta available later you should see performance improvements.
