In early July, I bought a average desktop pc from pc world. This one to be exact:

http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/computing/desktop-pcs/desktop-pcs/lenovo-h50-desktop-pc-10137514-pdt.html

I then found it was not very good for gaming so I continued to buy an Asus GTX 750 Ti to then find it wouldn't fit in the case. I then bought an Msi version of the card that fitted perfectly and works like a dream for most mid ranged games at high 1080. Now, coming to the end of the gaming year, I have been thinking about what to upgrade on my pc.

At this moment in time I am thinking of upgrading my case to a Corsair Spec 01 (http://www.corsair.com/en-us/carbide-series-spec-01-red-led-mid-tower-gaming-case) to free up some space for when I want to get a better card. Then I began thinking about the compatability of the case and my motherboard. As this being one of my first builds other than inserting the graphics cards I am very paranoid about the mother boards sizes such as ITX, mini ITX and all the rest. Also, I can not find the specific motherboard as it is most likely a batch motherboard used by Lenovo.

I ran a quick CPU-Z check and came across the motherboard being called a LENOVO SHARKBAY 31900058 STD, no information in size.

I was basically wondering if this motherboard would fit into this case or i would have to buy a new motherboard?

Thanks in advance

Get a good PSU first things first. The OEM ones are crap and can kill higher end components.

The other thing you need to worry about is will your motherboard fit? Some companies use proprietary standoff layouts that won't fit in normal case layouts.

That was something I was going to buy with the case in a bundle. Would this motherboard fit, and or should I upgrade that?

NEVER buy case + PSU bundles unless you want to start a forest fire

So should I get a SPEC 01 and then say a VS550 for the upgrade?

Thats what i am worrying about, the only way I can think of finding the size of my motherboard is taking it out and measuring it

Why are you trying to kill your system? buy a GOOD PSU, not a fucking fire hazard like the corsair VS....

It's more where the holes in the motherboard to secure it are then the size.

Like what then? I'm not quite sure whats wrong with it...

XFX TS, EVGA G2/GS, SeaSonic S12II/M12II, Super Flower Golden Green/Leadex, Antec High Current Gamer - one of those is the lowest I'd dare go.

-snip-

you shouldnt had bought that prebuild, you could build have a very good pc if you had came here, to the forums, at that time.

I hate to be the bad guy here, but you will need to change some of the components in order to get good performance, and get the rest from the build you already own

If you choose to have a new motherboard get the one above and if you don't get the one below. The 390 will max all games at 1080p/1440p and the PSU is as reliable as can be. Just transfer the CPU/RAM/Storage.etc and your good to go.
