HELP!

Hey guys i am planning a build for my youtube channel. I have decided on X99 as i would have 2 more cores which come in handy when streaming and recording. I need help deciding between 2 builds. 

 

The first one is a Razer themed build with The NZXT H440 Razer designed case. The link is here.

I won't be able to afford the second 980 HoF and the expensive headphones in his build. Also, its going to be X99 with a 5820k. For the build it would be more expensive so i can only go with a 850 pro samsung and a 1tb black drive WD. I can only can get HOF 980. 

 

My budget is 3100 use for EVERYTHING including mouse and keyboard and monitor.

You are spending a lot on your motherboard, it gives literally no performance difference. Get a cheaper X99 board and a better graphic card or CPU.Also if you wish to use this for youtube you need mass storage 400GB + 500GB is not enough.

And sense  since you are buying a free sync monitor get a AMD card like the r9 Fury to benefit from it.
