Aftermarket Cooling Options

I wanted to get an aftermarket cooler for my 290 since the reference cooler is... meh. I was looking at the HG10 from Corsair and the Kraken G10 from NZXT, but the new case I want (either custom case or an RVZ02/ML08) doesn't really support coolers like that. Anyway, what are some aftermarket coolers THAT AREN'T BIGGER THAN THE CARD ITSELF IN TERMS OF LENGTH? Key phrase there, it has to be around the size of the card itself. It already barely fits as it is. I was looking at this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835242041 but,

 

a. I don't know how big it is, or if it will overhang my 290 or something.

b. I don't know how well it cools and if it actually requires a fan.

c. I don't know if it's even compatible with my 290.

 

So, help me out here, budget isn't an issue, but don't recommend anything over $100, please. Kinda dumb if it's almost as much as I paid for the card. Thanks!
