disregard the power supply on the actual wish list.   Along with the hardware and components shown here (along with 2 SATA 7200 drives that I already owned).  How big of a power supply do I actually need?  I used Cooler Masters calculator and it came up with 423watts so I chose the 550.  Friend told me that my video card alone would need more than that.  A little assistance please

I just got one yesterday, the RM750i is only 103$ on Amazon with Prime shipping.

I am shocked, some on LTT forum who recommends a Corsair PSU ;-)

 

I am waiting for the usual overpriced, they are shit and get a EVGA PSU now

RM are fine but the one bellow them are tosh.

The reason I don't recommend them is cause when budget is tighter than 1500$ it's usually not a very cost-efficient choice when Antec High Current Gamer is the same quality for literally half the price of the RM.

I am not impressed by the cables on my HX850i and I will have to get them replaced because they look so ugly but the PSU itself is reliable
