Off topic- school dances?

So I'm in high school and there is this girl that I want to take to a dance. But there is one problem. She likes dance by putting her arms around a guys neck like a lot of girls. 

 

But she's kind of 5 foot 2 and I am kind of 6 foot 5. So with my dress shoes that give me an extra like 1.5 inches. How will we be able to dance?
