Hi guys, i'll build a new computer but, i don't choose yet the platform 1155, 1150 or 2011, many recommend me haswell but, i don't like it so much, i hear isn't much overclockeable. I want a durable platform, do not have to upgrade in a year and a half or two. The principal use is for games, but too i'll use adobe and autodesk suite.
What do you recommend?

- 3820+MSI X79A-GD45 (4 dims version)
- 3770K+MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming Edition
- 4670K+MSI Z87A-GD65 Gaming Edition

All combos cost the same in my country (i'm mexican)

Thanks.

Go with a 3770k if you really want to overclock if not go with a 4770k. I would avoid SB-E if your main focus is gaming.

Yes, i'll do OC, also, i don't have the money for the 4770k.

Realy? even IB for maybe 2 years?

Either 3820+MSI X79A-GD45 (4 dims version) or 3770K+MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming Edition

The first one if you plan to do video editing or rendering the second if you plan to use it for pure gaming

Vídeo editing? no, i use autocad, 3d max, illustrator... but sometimes. I use more the pc for games

A 3770k will last 3+ years easily.

I agree| the 3770K is still a decent CPU and has pretty good overclocking headroom (depending on the quality).

CPU: Ryzen 7-3700x 4.4GHz, MB: ASUS PRIME B450M-AGPU: SAPPHIRE RX 590, RAM: 16GB Corsair 3200MHz, SSD: 480GB Kingston HDD: 2TB WD Green, CHASSIS: CoolerMaster HAF 912, PSU: CoolerMaster Thunder 700W, COOLERHyper 212 Black Edition

Just get a 4770k and a cheaper mobo. Do you plan to sli/crossfire?
