I'm planning on buying this to play some games like Minecraft on medium settings. Would this work?

You'll have no problem maxing out Minecraft with those specs, however for the CPU, GPU, Motherboard, and RAM look to Ebay. I recently got a Q6600, GT 610, Intel Motherboard, and 4GB's of DDR2 RAM for only 60$. Or buy some of the parts off ebay and step it up in other areas of your system.

I'd imagine but the CPU is crappy.
