CAD project ideas?

780blzit

So I'll be starting a project in CAD soon. But I'm all out of ideas.

Last year I saw this on reddit:

 qOAa18q.gif

And from this gif, I made one like this but in my own way.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I could make? It wont be 3D printed or anything.

Thank you!

SolidWorks would be nice for this. but im not sure this would work in 3d as there is some overlapping going on

Edit: misread, make a simple compression jet engine

I would like some moving parts, an engine would be great but way to complicated for me.

I'm not sure if you read the whole post or I just suck at english, but I've already made the thing in the gif before, in SolidWorks. I'm looking for something new to do.

How about this..

A computer case with modular panels that can open when you push a button.

Similar to the ROG series case I belief, which is electronic and opens the case into a computer pedestal :o.

Basically you have a bunch of turbines compressing air they are sucking in, and then a burn chamber where you add fuel and a spark source to ignite the mixture. then add a nozzle and you have thrust
