I don't plan on doing this for several more months, but I want to start planning on a future new build and was wanting help settling on things.

The first option, draft I made

With this build I'd be going for a black and red build. The graphics card is kind of just a placeholder, I'm considering waiting until Nvidia releases their own high bandwidth gpus next year (also I currently have a 980, and I don't want to repeat the same thing as my current build, buy the top gpu only for a better one to be released some months later for around the same price at the time)

I don't have any storage chosen since I'll be using my current ones (500gb m.2 ssd, 2tb sshd, and 4tb hdd). As for my psu I'll most likely carry over my current one, an Xfx 650 gold.

I need help on my second option.

If I go with the first option I'd go with a black and red build (cause I really like that case), but with the second option I'd want a white and black build to match it, which is where I've ran into a setback. I really like the Thermaltake case also (I like the hot swap bays it has and the overall design).

I'm having trouble finding a motherboard for it. Msi is my preferred brand but I really don't like the MSI krait mobos. (I prefer a motherboard that has all the sata and etc. ports on the side instead of on the front). I chose the gigabyte gpu also as a bit of a placeholder for the same reasons as above. (a placeholder just for these lists, I'm not gonna go out and buy them).

Another issue I came across is compatibility issues on pcpartpicker when it comes to the cpu cooler. I want to go for an aio dual rad, however it appears that that case doesn't support dual rads. Anyone else out there have or seen this case in action with liquid cooling? one thing I was considering if I do go with this option would be just drill screw holes in the top of the case to fit a dual rad aio cooler.

Another reason why I'd want the second case is since it has 5.25" bays and I have a blu-ray disc drive, and I'd have to buy a usb adapter if I got the first case.

For the red and black build I reckon this mobo might be better http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Fatal1ty%20Z170%20Gaming%20K6+/index.us.asp
