Delete key not working?

I noticed today when i turned my comp on the Delete key wasn't working on my keyboard, it works in games and stuff but if i highlight a file or click on something on the desktop and hit the delete key it does nothing.

Any one know what's up? they key its self is fine and so is the keyboard but its like windows doesn't recognise that key as a deleting key any more lol

Im checking games again, cause im sure it was but not 100% sure

Well then your keyboard isn't sending a signal to your computer for 1 of two reasons.

1) They key isn't is registering due to a harware issue such as a faulty switch ----> you can't really fix this

2) Whatever driver that is interpreting your keystrokes doesn't recognize the delete key due to a software error-----> you can usually fix this, try restarting if you haven't since the issue started, or reinstall some drivers for windows or the os you have

Like I said check if it is a software issue as that can be resolved, but if not you'll need a new keyboard

Always wanted to get a new keyboard but me and this keyboard got so attached, we like bros now. After so long you get an emotional attachment to it

I used to swap it with the same model tho, that way I didn't have to get used to a new layout
