Possible upgrades?

My Specs:


  • CPU: i5-3450k 3.1 GHz (Old)
  • GPU: GTX 970 G1 4GB (New)
  • RAM: Jetram 8GB DDR3 @1600MHz (Old)
  • Motherboard: Asus P8H77M_LE (Old)
  • Primary Drive: Samsung Evo 500GB SSD (New)
  • Secondary: WD 1TB (Old)
  • PSU: Seasonic X-Series 650W/EVGA Supernova G2 (New)
  • Monitor: RL2455HM or XL2420Z if the price is ok.
  • Case: H440

what should i get next? i'm not going to get a new CPU and mobo for now. xD

maybe a crucial MX200 or Samsung 850 evo/pro

oh, i didn't see that you already had an SSD, than maybe some more ram or another HDD for storage

Get an R9 390, it's better than a 970

 

i heard the R9 390 is good for 1440p while the 970 is good 1080p. any help in this?

Well, they're both equal at 1080, the 390 pulls ahead in any other res. Also, if 390, get Sapphire or MSI.

i will think about it but i will probably get the 970 considering that i will be playing 1080p only. :D
