fallout new vegas modding

hi guys iv nerver played the game before but iv seen a few videos and the graphics dont look to great copmpared to todays standards, iv just signed up to nexus mod managger and i wantr to mod the game to look better any surgestions for which mods to use, ps i dont want to use a enb as i have tried to install them in skyrim before and got way to confussed

Alright, you should first get your mod manager set up, such as Mod Organizer or Nexus Mod Manager.

From there on, modding gets a whole lot easier and intuitive to set up.

 

I would recommend looking up a tutorial on YouTube on how to set up Mod Organizer (which I would recommend because I use it myself) in Fallout: NV. I liked Gopher tutorial on how to set it up for Skyrim, but not sure if he made a video for Fallout: NV.

 

Installing an ENB should be as simple as pressing the 'Install to NMM' button and installing.

Install the texture mod. 4g of ram mod, anti freeze mod, and the one with better effects(forget the name but it;s on the first page of top mods.

 

I use the Nexus mod organizer as some of the Fallout NV specific ones cause conflicts.
