PC upgrading (any suggestions)

jewishdolphins

Ok, so im not typing much since i already typed like an essay here and it accidentally got deleted. Ok, so I'm upgrading my pc. I need suggestions based off of what you think will impact the performance of my PC the most.

Here's a little about me since It's important to know how I use my computer:

- going to college next year for computer engineering. (currently use software such as arduino, fritizing, etc)

- love playing games. I usually play csgo (which runs 230 fps for me) and metal gear solid v (which normally runs 60 fps for me)

- Also love to just play games such as csgo and have like twitch going on in my other monitor. However, I can't really do this with games such as metal gear since my cpu load gets really high.

- Love having multiple windows open on my browser.

- Also, don't really know If i'm into streaming or not. Maybe one day if im living on my own in college I may want to record some game play or something. But for now, i'm not very sure. Definitely not a requirement. Just something to keep in mind.

Now that you know a little about me, here are my specs. Just remember that I just want to make the upgrade based off of what will impact my computer's performance the most based off of how I use it. P.S. I AM willing to upgrade any of my peripherals such as my monitor, mouse, etc. So Tell me what you guys think:

GPU : EVGA GeForce GTX 960 (Superclocked, 4GB)
CPU : Intel Core i5 4690k Quad-Core Processor (3.5 Ghz)
Mobo : Asus Z97-A Motherboard
Ram : Corsair Vengeance 8 GB (2 x 4 GB)
HDD : 1TB Western Digital Blue 7200 RPM
Case : NZXT S340 Black
OS : Windows 10

Monitor 1: Asus VX228H 21.5" Monitor  (60 hertz)
Monitor 2: Asus VX228H 21.5" Monitor (60 hertz)
Keyboard : Corsair K65 RGB Mechanical Keyboard
Mouse : Corsair M65 RGB Mouse

Also, forgot to mention that this could also include getting an actual gaming chair. Maybe I should have named this "setup upgrade" or something lol

SSD and RAM would be something to start off with.

- CPU: Intel i7 3770 - GPU: MSI R9 390 - RAM: 16GB of DDR3 - SSD: Crucial BX100 - HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB -

Get a SSD.

Think about replacing the 960 with a 390 or 390x but that isn't a N1 priority ATM.

Won't that be a lot of stress for my computer? I mean the one i have running right now is superclocked.

He doesn't really need a new GPU when all he plays is CSGO and MGS.

960's in SLI isn't worth it, it's a pointless waste of money.

What would be my biggest priority to have a twitch stream going while playing a game like metal gear?

That's why I said if you can but it's not a big priority, CPU and RAM would be the main upgrade

watch a stream

CPU>SSD>RAM. I'd go in that order.
