So Update: After frantically searching for a solution to this problem and scanning my entire windows installation, I finally managed to get it to work. if anybody is interested to know how, feel free to ask!

I have been annoyed by a problem lately: I do not know what is up with my windows updates, Every time I boot my PC up I get this annoying notifications from windows telling me that it could not install the update (see image below).

Also when I try to download it in the manager and then restart the PC, after the reboot, the Update is still marked as if it had not been installed. I also during the reboot do not see any installation screen.

I then tried to install it manually and downloaded the file from Microsoft. When I tried to install it, I got this error message:

I would really like some help on that topic as I do not want to miss out on any important update. I also ask myself if my installation might not be broken as the updater seems to play crazy.

Thanks LTT Community :)

Update: The Windows Update Troubleshooter when launched finds the following error: Service registration is missing or corrupt
