Display Error [Help Required]

Hi,

 

Recently i have been facing issue while gaming where the screen turns completely black after minutes of gaming, seems the games or apps running are working fine because from the sound everything is running smoothly in background.

 

Now, after searching for some answers via google, i got mix response, some saying the display has gone black due to issues with graphic card while other saying its the fault with PSU unit that it is not supplying enough power to the card.

 

 

has anyone faced similar issues where the screen turned black while all apps or game working fine in background until restart please let me know about what fix did you try to take.

Have you tried reinstalling your GPU drivers? Have you overclocked your GPU? What PSU do you have?

Yep, tried installing and reinstalling everything seems the problem still remains,

 

My rig

 

Core i5 4670k

8GB RAM

AMD R9 280X

Cooler Master 600W PSU

1TB seagate drive

and a z series gigabite MOBO

 

oh yeah, and not have overclocked it in recent while, i got this rig like an year ago
