Installing problem! Skylake

Go to solution Solved by Tedster,

So I built my new PC (VIII Hero i7 6700k)

everything went good so i hooked up a dvd drive to install windows 10 (which i downloaded from dreamspark)

I changed the boot priority and as soon as it started it says:

reboot and select a proper boot device

Why how can I get it away i tryed a lot of solutions from google but nothing works

I also tried my original windows 7 cd wich also doesn't work

Please help I am sitting here since 3 hours and i just can't get it to work -.-

Thanks

Akadis

1) The BIOS might just not want to boot from the optical drive. Have you tried flashing a USB with the ISO?

2) I had problems with DirectX on my Dreamspark install of Windows 7 and because I was using faulty RAM for the install I corrupted a few cabfiles that were needed to install directx stuff. Getting games to work might be a bit finicky, unsure because my experience is only with Windows 7.
