as of right now its a dead path... with intel you have options for upgrades down the line plus they perform much much better (98% of the time)

1000 euros is a nice budget, do you need monitor and peripherals?

Yes I need a monitor. I have speakers (logitech z506) and a mouse and mousepad (mouse: natec Genesis GX55. It's cheap and suits my hand, mousepad: natec Genesis M11 maxi. The huge one)

The only AMD CPU I would buy is the 8350, it's still price competitive (depends where you live) and can easily hit high frequencies. Other than that i3 if you're tight on budget or i5 for pretty much everything, browsing, gaming, productivity, etc.

They have worse single core performance and most tasks (including games) are reliant on single core performance and usually doesn't even use more than 4 cores.

Okay then which intel cpu would you sujest?

I'm siding with an i3 + 380 combo.

Which i3?

The reason I went with AMD and a AM3+ is cause I find it easier to choose an affordable and descent motherboard. I just don't know which intel compatable boards are good... :/

Italy is the closest to Greece part picker has so i went with that this build should last you a nice while, included a keyboard as well since you didn't say you had one

also you want to rethink your case options, all of the cases you listed are gonna kill your budget using a third of the budget just on your case isn't a good idea

I'm also from the US but I moved to Greece about 9yrs ago.

My dad is currently in the US but shipping will cost as much as it would to buy it from Greece/europe. And if the package is stopped at customs I'm screwed...
