Hey guys,

I just purchased a benq gw2765ht monitor. It's a 27 inch 1440p IPS display , and the colours are quite fantastic. I did notice, however, that on complete white screen, that bottom left corner seems to be warmer than the rest of the screen. Is this kind of thing normal on large monitors like this?

Thanks

Id guess it's backlight bleed in that corner.

Try to check it with the screen on but completely black - like a loading screen for games etc.

There's a bit of backlight bleed, but not in the same area that I mentioned above

It's "normal" in the sense that it's quite common. Depending on the severity and if you can/can't tolerate it, you may want to RMA.

Can you take a picture and post it here of a white/black background?

Here's a picture of the white screen. Thoughts?

If it's bothersome I would RMA. Is it noticeable in any situation other than a blank screen?

It's actually more noticeable with greyscale content.  I dunno, the picture looks worse than it actually is -- I'd rather not go through an exchange process because a replacement monitor would likely have its own set of problems.

It's your decision, but I still suggests to RMA it, or get refund and try another model (maybe from AOC - they produce only displays). I had similar problem with P2314H and returned it - on gray or white background  left side panel has yellow tint, and on right side blue tint, for worse it has some problems with FRC implementation.
