Hi guys !

I just bought a Kingston HyperX Fury 1866.

I did not notice that my ASUS H97M-E only has max 1600.

Will there be any conflict with it ? (Please note that I'm not that familiar with RAM Frequencies)

The ram will down clock to 1600Mhz

This might sound pretty dumb but do you recommend replacing it with a 1600 ? (Hopefully the store allows it.) or just let it be ?

If it's cheaper and it's a good brand like Crucial, Corsair, G.Skill or Kingston.

You will probably still be able to run it at 1866 anyways. H97 is fairly new and I'm sure it was up to date. Anything over 1600 is just OC.
