Hello hello,

Im looking to pick up a Little Dot MK III

I know I can get it from Amazon.  http://www.amazon.com/Little-Dot-Headphone-Amplifier-AMPLIFIER/dp/B00CHIKIDM

But I also see it here

http://www.littledot.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=815&sid=95c0fd65a2f552fbdb7feba9be2a780f

and here

http://www.ebay.com/sch/davidzhezhe/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686

Both of which are considerably cheaper than Amazon.

I think the last 2 sites I posted are run by the guy that sells them himself?   davidzhezhe ???

Why so much cheaper? About 100.00 less.

Would anyone know about these 2 sites ?

Amazon is a marketplace, some stuff sold by Amazon themselves, but most sold by other companies. Those companies control the prices, not the manufacturers.

I would buy it straight from little dot if you can. Same with Schiit and probably other internet direct companies, there is no point in going through amazon.

unless it is for some reason cheaper on amazon.

Or you have a gift card.

Thx for answering.

So those two sites I posted are the right place? Im pretty sure both are actually the same from the same person.

Yes. But you might as well order from the actual site, since that's where he likely spends most of his time.

Also, it's on massdrop right now, but I haven't actually checked to see if it's any cheaper.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)

Even then, direct is safer. If Amazon is fullfilling the order, they can do things like sell a returned product naked in a box while calling it "new", because fuck shit.

Yeah, i got some monsoon fittings from Amazon that look suspiciously used.

OK, Thank you, I will order directly from their site.

I just returned a MK III to Massdrop. (the drop is over) It was defective. Kept blowing the internal fuse upon turning it on.

But I tell ya, Im not as experienced as you guys. But Man did that amp sound good when it worked. I mean, I have a SMSL sd-79311 Optical right now. Sounds good.

But once I switched it to a Dac and then the Mk III I could tell the diference right away. (once I learned about the gain settings on the amp). It was just like a calmer / richer / more powerfull sound.

So, I got refunded. And ordering straight from their site is even $40.00 less than massdrop was.

No harm, no fowl.
