Will this bottleneck?

Hello

 

So, I was gonna build a new pc, but now i'm just gonna upgrade my pc.

I have one question: Will my i5 760 @2.8 gHz bottleneck a 750ti?

Or should I just buy a new cpu?

 

no it will not bottleneck a 750ti, it would not really bottleneck a higher end card either,

MORE than enough, could run a 980ti if you wanted

Assuming it's the power engine 600W, that's a 432W power supply. Not really ;)

Pascal Undervolting topic, get more out of your card with less power!

Why high refreshrate monitors look better even without Freesync/G-sync in one image.
Stutters, framedrops, "lag". How to provide detailed information with your "bottleneck" question, as well as a few solutions.

It is :o

 

Well that thing can only (arguably you don't want to hit those limits) deliver 430 something watts on the 12V rails. Don't assume it's a 600W, rather assume it's a 400W unit.

Nah - original i5s weren't as good :P

Sandy and above are fine but that's 20% lower IPC than Sandy :)

I'd say a 980/390X is as far as that chip goes.
