When I was doing overclocking on my ASUS 970 Strix on the new Star Wars battlefront, I increased the voltage a bit and it crashed the game, so I went back to afterburner, and changed it back to the original voltage. When I launched the game again, My FPS decreased substantially, so I looked back on my logs and my 970 was only clocking to 540 Mhz. Any Ideas?

Restart the PC and it should be fine.

This sounds similar to an issue associated with Battlefield 4, which hates OC, restart as Zayzo said it really can only help

If the card isn't being used properly it downclocks when you're gaming it increases, these are called P-states. When you increased your voltage you may have hit a thermal or tdp or even power limit meaning it will downclock too. I found all this very confusing the first time I started using my 970.
