Hey guys,

My 1.2TB Intel 750 Series SSD isn't letting me install an OS -- says something's wrong, but on my WD Black it works just fine. Any ideas?

I've tried it a few times already..

EDIT: Btw, it's Win 10

Also, this is a repost. Posted other post too late, didn't get any help. Thanks for your help

You may need to format the disk to get it ready for installation.

When you are at the disk selection page of the Windows Install,

press Shift+F10 to bring up a command prompt.

type in the following;

diskpart

list disk

select disk (whatever disk your SSD is)

clean

format fs = ntfs quick

active

exit

Close the command prompt and refresh the drive selection window (it may need a restart of the install) but it should not let you install Windows onto it.
