yep im on the latest bios 4901. im starting to expect a dead pcie slot however the slot. on both my pcie x8 slot and pcie x16 lane. however i am unsure how likely it is for certain games to break pcie lanes. since this problem only occured when i tried to launch left for dead 2 or guild wars 2. before i tried to play these games my computer would work on sli ust fine in the current config. when the game launches my whole screen turns black and then the computer reboots with the 2nd gpu fan spinning at max.

I would point to Windows 10 being the problem.

It's not a race to the bottom.

I would do a clean install of your graphics drivers, but I assume you've already done that. Have you tried a different SLI Bridge? I had some weird issues with artifacting and games crashing and when I swapped the SLI bridge everything worked like normal.
