Mouse hitting a invisible wall

Hello,

 

I recently purchase a roccat tyon mouse and for some reason every so often the mouse would hit a invisible wall of sorts were as I am moving my mouse the cursor would not be able to continue in that direction for a short while. This is not a long lasting issue as the way i fix it is to move the mouse around for a bit but it is a reoccurring issue. This can be incredibly annoying when I am playing a video game so any response would be much appreciated.

Have you tested the mouse in another computer?

Yes and there is no problem on a new comp.

 

I tried switching usb ports but im not sure if that worked yet because this problem is pretty random in terms of when it occurs.

Maybe try removing and reinstalling the driver?

So far after changing usb ports its bin fine but I will have to see in the long run if this is a permanent solution.

Oddly enough that has happened to me and changing the USB port works. And then others its only a solution for a while.

 

I had a mouse that did some weird things like you explained. I ended up finding out that the mouse was faulty later after the problems got worse. New mouse, no problems.

Are you by any chance running multiple different resolution monitors in Windows 8? And the other system being one with only 1 monitor? Windows 8 includes a feature that prevents you from accidentally going to your other screen on the corners.

I am using 2 monitors but they are the same resolution and i'm running windows 10.

Also this problem does not happen when my mouse is moving monitors.
