Yes it will, but...

I'd advise a 390 over the 970, it costs the same, and performs all around better, along with having more than double the usable vram of the 970.

It will be compatible but only after you follow the steps listed below:

1. Open GPU and take it out of packaging.

2. Put in a zip-lock bag

3. Make sure it has an air tight seal

4. Put into your freezer

5. Leave it overnight (I personally left mine in for 26 hours)

6. Take out of freezer

7. Make sure that the GPU doesn't have any damage on it

8. While it is still cold, put it into the microwave and heat it up for around 10-15 minutes

9. While the GPU is heating up, grab a pot of water and put it on the stove

10. Heat the water to a boil

11. Take the heated GPU and submerge it into the water

12. Keep it in the pot until all water has evaporated and only the GPU is left

13. Plug into your motherboard

14 Enjoy your new GPU! :D :D :D

*Seriously tho. Yes. It is compatible...
