Hello guys,

So a friend of mine needs a PC for 3d rendering in programs like 3ds max, arhiCAD and so on (he is an architecture student). He uses the CPU to render and the GPU to move around in his project from what i understand.
The budget is not fixed but we considered 2000$ as the absolute maximum, but this price is stretching it pretty hard and he would consider it only if the performance gain is significant.
So we came out with 2 basic builds...
First of all i have a question, when it comes to ddr4 how much does the frequency & CAS matter in real world performance?
I mean it should matter, but i rarely see anyone saying this ram is much better than that RAM nad i even heard linus saying "Just get the color you want"

(storage is already covered)

The 390 with 8gb of vram should help you with your work better. If you're working on 3D stuffs the 390 here is definitely going to win hands down, you won't regret it.

You don't need that over priced PSU, this will be golden.
