HeyGuys

So last weekend I overclocked my PC but both the GPU and CPU were unstable and I had to remove both overclocks. I reset the bios to default and now my PC won't properly boot anymore..

This happens when I boot it. At first I was like, no problem. The boot options probably changed. But when I went to check those I saw this ... Boot option 1 is the SSD where my boot files are on. I also disabled boot option 2 just in case but it still doesn't boot. I have to go to the next settings there to override.

Thanks in advance

Well, is the CPU fan actually working, or not?

How high did you go with the overclock, voltage and heat wise?

Have you tried a "mem ok" or similar option?  There is usually a button on the motherboard, just in case the BIOS reset didn't get this right and/or it was changed for some reason.

Is all the memory detected?

It sounds like the drives are fine since they show up, so that's good.

5 keyboards and 3 mice?  Really?  Is that correct?  Sounds a little excessive.

Well I think this is obvious. The PC doesn't want to boot because the CPU fan has an error.

Open your case, check the cpu fan to see if it's spinning properly (the one connected to the CPU fan header on the motherboard, it's a very specific one, so if you plugged something else there, the PC will think that is the CPU fan)

Even if it seems to be spinning, if it doesn't spin above a certain RPM, it will show that warning.

both CPU fans are working yes.

4.7GHz at 1.255 V. I tried 4.8 but would need too much voltage. (Chip isn't that fantastic sadly)

I have no tried mem ok, don't even know what it is :D

Yes all memory is detected.

Yea idk where it gets 5 and 3 from loool. I have a keyboard, keypad, mouse, and sound amp.

Both fans are spinning so it must be the RPM thingy. How do I change that?

You can change the warning RPM (the RPM below which it will give a warning, or possibly this error) in the BIOS.  By default, it may be 600 but this will depend on your motherboard.

And those voltages sound perfectly safe.  Actually, I'd say you've got a pretty decent chip to get that speed - a lot of people can't hit 4.7

Well I had to remove the overclock because my PC would crash every now and then haha. Same with my GPU, display drivers kept crashing
