So about a year ago I tried to use my old 360 on my TV again. I had always connected it via YPbPr (aka component video) because my telly only has one HDMI port. Also, I used to have it hooked up to my sound system.

First I thought that the cable broke, and when the second cable didn't fix it I thought that the sound card was done. I think I tried HDMI as well (because I'm usually not stupid), but I'm not so sure now.

So turns out that it works over AV and HDMI, which leads me to believe that in fact the sound input on my YPbPr slots on my TV are broken.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? It's not crucial, but I'd like to use the XBOX over component so I can keep my chromecast plugged in... (currently playing Sonic 06 with a buddy)
