Logitech G230 Headset Audio issue

Hello, I've been using the Logitech G230 for the past few days now, and I've noticed that the overall headset volume is a lot lower even after turning up the volume in windows and using the physical volume adjuster.
Any help? I've even fiddled around in the control panel audio devices, but to no effect. It's starting to really bother me
I've already tried enabling/disabling the driver but to no effect, as well as updating it (it's up to date)

The thing is if i plug in any other audio device, it sounds fine with proper volume. I used to use my apple ear pods before I got this which sounded fine and great. After plugging this in everything is really really soft even with max volume.

I've tried 'disabling all sound effects' in properties but to no change

I've tried using a different audio jack but to no effect as well.

Any help? It's really interfering with my gaming experience.

Don't think anyone has a clue dude

Probably a defective product. You should return it if you or anyone here can't figure out the problem.

Crap. Guess I gotta return it. I live in India, and whatever products I order are defective. Ugh this is so frustrating. This is the 3rd different headset I have to return!

Any suggestions about another type? Or where I can get a proper product? I live in India

Well, if you've tried 4 headsets all with the same problem, couldn't it be your motherboard? Get a cheap sound card to see if that fixes it.

Nah that was with my old computer. Headsets like the playstation silver wired worked perfectly, but I can't find em here.

Motherboard is fine, I don't think I'd need a sound card. (Hopefully) and this is my 3rd now lol.

It's the seller.

Anyway, any suggestions?
