So while looking through this forum, many people say that the Corsair cx series isn't good for most builds. I just wanted to know if this affects all of Corsair's power supplies as I am planning on building a pc with an RM550 power supply.

No different series can be made by different OEMs and depending on what placing they want the PSU to have in the market depends on whether they skimp out of things or go for great quality but some companies like Seasonic or Superflower are good quality on all their PSUs.

The Corsair RM isn't as bad as the CX but it's highly overpriced and there are better options to go for at the price range
