I only just noticed this.. but once you see it, it cannot be unseen..

This is an enemy aiming a gun firing at me... as you can see the tracer from the bullet hitting me, why the hell does he look like that though? 

An untextured NPC until he comes close enough and suddenly turns into something that looks like a human.
