i am wanting to build a new pc but i don't have quite the money for windows yet, i am hoping to use a free linux os until i have the money for win 8. i have never used linux before and i want the interface to be similar to windows. any suggestions?

Current PC: Chimera, Because AMD and Nvidia belong together

Ubuntu is amazing because of Steam support and a command line that has some fun stuff to it. (Nixie pixel has a video)

I am a member of the PCMasterRace. I am terribly sad to announce that I own a PeasantStation 3 Super Slim. it's in a drawer away from my glorious PC.
