Which one would be the best buy? 

Starting college soon and need something to take notes and stuff, so it needs to be able to use a stylus.

Plus the ability to run low to medium end games. Trying to staying around 1'000$.

, Microsft Surface Pro is not customizable but the HP and Lenovo are so the prices can very depending on selection.

I'd go with either the Yoga or the Twist. Both are solid options. Thinkpads are generally built and tested a bit more rigorously (MIL Spec testing) than Ideapads though.
