Building a new computer, open to suggestions, but i'm pretty confident with my build. I'm sticking with an Intel/Nvidia and Black/Red theme for this one so please don't suggest the 390 or anything along those lines, my Amd build will come after this one. I will still suggest an R9 390, it is just a better buy for the money.

Also get an i7-4790k and Z97 board. You may not overclock now, but you will benefit in the future from it.

I would get a 4790k and a z97 motherboard since the 4790k is more powerful than the 4790 and with the Z97 chipset you can SLI

Looks solid, but a downgrade to a 4690 (non-k) could shave off almost enough to get a 980.

 

edit: The mouse is the same price as the m65 RGB. Go for the upgrade or a G502 ( hands down way better than any mouse i've ever used, and i've used a lot. )
