How does it look? I am debating between the corsair vengeance 16 GB DDR4 ram @3000(The one that I have on the list) or the Crucial Ballistix Elite 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR4 2666(it is currently on sale on amazon). I may also want to add another ssd and dual boot with Mac OS when its is compatible with skylake(of course taking the risk that the parts may not be compatible when it comes out). Oh.. and I want a machine thats pretty good at doing mostly everything (Ex. school work, maybe some editing, maybe some games, and just the normal browsing(sometimes with a lot of open tabs))

You spend quite a lot of money into storage, motherboard, PSU and OS, while you wouldn't actually need to do that to achieve almost the same performance.
Instead you could invest in a better graphics card.

Especially the OS is werid, because you can get Win 7/8 keys for $25 on eBay, which you can then upgrade to Windows 10.

I believe that versions such as that are stuck with the mobo and CPU. So for example if I was to replace those parts in the future, I would have to buy a new OS again.

iirc X99 is better than Skylake at the current price point. Also, a 390 would perform marginally better than a 970 for less cost.

Interesting, i'll check out the x99 but I am looking for things that are new gen (Just me lol). I will also check out the 390 but I believe I might have a problem with mac compatibility with that in the future when I try installing mac os.

I installed my Win8 key on two different PCs with two different accounts. Worked fine.

Oh awesome, I'll have to look into it then. Could save a boat load with that! Thanks!

You're welcome.

Just a quick note tho: I use an OEM version of Windows 8. I don't know if that matters, but just so you know.

Also try to find some more information on this. I'm not 100% sure if it works.
