Cheap Graphics needed

Go to solution Solved by Castdeath97,

Thanks to all of you for such a quick response.

So do I go with a GTX 950 or a R9 270?

And which model of the card?

The 950 outperforms the r7 370 and r9 270 so get it if you can afford it.

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a new graphics card for around £100 and I am not sure what to get. I am currently considering the Asus GTX 750 ti. At the moment I have a NVidia GT 730 2GB GDDR5, and I want something that can deliver more performance but still be quiet and cool, I have found my current card never gets above 45 degrees C and my fan speed is constantly 30% . I mostly play racing games, but I would like to be able to play a variety of modern games at very good settings at very good FPS.

My current system includes:

AMD FX6300 at standard clock + turbo boost (4.2GHz max)

Asus M5A78L-M-USB3

8GB Crucial Ballistic Ram

A CX750 Watt Corsair PSU

Also, if there are any other recommendations of fairly cheap parts to upgrade, but that would have a significant system improvement that would be great.

Thanks

Nice 750W PSU (So overkill). Yeah a 750Ti would be an upgrade. Don't plan on getting 60+FPS with a 1080p monitor on *very* modern games.

Just get the R7 370/750Ti

But I would just give a heads up not to overclock on that mobo

(Also if you ever wanted to upgrade to a high end system I would recommend a PSU change)
