so, you need a mass storage solution to store a serial number...?

 

ok...

a RAID card would be your best bet, but it needs to be paired with another drive

Oh, it's not for in a PC, it's for in a small electronics project... That's why it can't be larger than a pic16...

Dunno, USB? I could solder a very tiny 4 pin connector maybe?

ok... you can get really tiny USb sticks, idk if thats small enough

well, I'd like it to be under 2 or 3 euro's, and I don't think I will need such overkill :)

i am honestly not sure then, maybe you can find smome old flash memory second hand?

what country tho

the cheapest in the netherlands is 8 GB usb stick for 6,9 euros with shipping included

but I want like some attiny with some kind of code, that when I plug it into an arduino that it displays stuff I write in the input screen thingy :)
