GPU Longer live

Does it mean like if i get 980Ti with 1080p my it will live longer than if i use it with 1440p ? 

Because i will be able to max out every game 60FPS+ for longer period right ? 

 

 

I plan getting Acer 1440p // G-syng // 144hz // IPS or 1440p monitor at all, so it was random question. I never used or played on anything higher than 1280p x 1024p ever, not even on my friends or something i am using 1280 x 1024 for 8years now and soon i buy new PC with monitor.

Depends, if game engines becomes more advanced and graphics heavy

 

You can't really tell how technology will be in the future

 

Theoretically the 980 ti should be a valid solution for a few years before becoming obsolete

 

TL:DR  1080p should give you more frames in the future than 1440p

Ya 1080p will give me more fps but i am not sure exacly if its worth.
