Mid-Range GPU SLI/Crossfire?

I am planing on building a Skylake Core i5-6600K Z170 gaming pc. I most likely will upgrade from 1 to 3 LG 25UM56-P 25" IPS ULTRAWIDE monitors overclocked to 75Hz+ at some point. What mid-range gpu would be good for adding a 2nd card for SLI/Crossfire at later date? I was looking at the R9 380 4G.

Aha! same monitor I have!

 

I would go for two 390x's at the MINIMUM.

 

AS I'm running a super duper oc'd 290 (just think of it as a standard 290x) and I hit about 60fps ultra most games.

My Current card is Sapphire R9 270X Dual-X 4GB OC in an old AMD Phenom II X4 940 build. PC specs in my signature. I don't really have a budget planned yet. I will be using current case, cpu cooler and case fans.

2nd 4GB 270X is an option.
