I have recently had it where i click stuff and chrome opens a new tab with some sort of ad

 

I have run malwarebytes and adwcleaner and reinstalled chrome but it keeps happening. 

 

Any ideas? Thanks

however to help...I use a blocking host file

I think its some sort of malware but i will look into a host file.

 

Like i will click on stuff in LTT and i get them its not website related its just in general something is wrong

scan with kaspersky av tool

malwarebytes

super antispyware

and hitman pro

and maybe do a complete refresh of the browser...uninstall..reboot...search for leftover files...delete them...search registry..delete....reinstall browser

Type this into your address bar: chrome://extensions

 

If you see something you didn't install or you think it could be causing this then remove it.

Guys, this is not "Normal", it's adware...
Scan with Combofix, hitman pro, adware removal tool, and again with malwarebytes. 
Reset chrome as well.
