Hello guys,

Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($34.89)

Motherboard: Asus M5A99FX PRO R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($121.89)

Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($16.45)

OS: Windows 8.1 Pro

I want to know if this build can run some of the latest game in a decent quality without lagging.

If it can great :)

If it can't what can i change to make it do so?

Thanks in advance.

Notes:

- I might do SLI in a far future

- My budget is maxed at R$5.000,00 about $1.250,00

- Total: $1139.50

About this, wouldn't it be better to:

- Change the cpu from i5-4460 to i7-4790K?

- Change the gpu from Sapphire Radeon R9 Fury to a Geforce GTX 970 or Geforce GTX 980Ti?

- Change the hdd from Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB to Western Diginal Black 1TB?

- Get a 240Gb SSD

The i7 4790K requires a beefier cooler and a Z97 board - that means a lot more cash and I don't see it fitting in a 1100$ budget

the Fury is about 15% faster than a 980. 980 Ti is faster than a Fury but a 980 Ti is about 100$ more expensive. Your call.

The WD black is overpriced - WD Blue is fine

120GB is fine since the SSD is mainly for the OS

BTW can this PC be overclocked?

A H97 board will not allow CPU overclocking.

A Z97 board will allow for it

A "K" processor will allow it, a non-"K" chip will not

Any GPU can be OCed regardless of board so long as the PSU is good
